A laundryman is responsible for providing an adequate, clean and constant linen supply to all users. The basic tasks include cleaning, pressing and folding laundry as needed.

The front desk staff is responsible for answering phone calls, guiding guest and issues their badges, handling client complaints, filling documents, planning business travel and other activities the hotel may need.

Maintenance work means the repair of existing facilities when the size, type or extent of such facilities is not thereby changed or increased.

While “maintenance” includes painting and decorating and is covered under the law, it does not include work such as routine landscape maintenance or janitorial services.

Dishwasher responsibilities include collecting used dishes, plates and utensils, loading washing machines and stacking washed items appropriately.

Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning and reporting any safety hazards to the manager in charge. They must complete tasks like vacuuming, sweeping, emptying trash cans, dusting shelves, cleaning windows and mopping floors.

As a houseman, different maintenance tasks should be performed, including cleaning and polishing surfaces, dusting furniture, and disinfecting equipment. Also, delivering housekeeping items to guest rooms and set up banquet rooms according to event orders.
